Detailed Review of LG PF50KA

Design

LG PF50KA design

Starting with its design, it is a highly compact projector with a squared body and rounded edges. It is a well-built projector that can last up to many years with reasonable usage. Even if it is made from high-quality plastic, any fall from a considerable height, say from your coffee table may lead to damage projector permanently and make the projector unusable. Hence it should be handled carefully. There are multiple lenses and mirrors within the projector that may break due to any such fall.

It has been designed to keep the looks minimalistic to suit your subtle decor. It comes with a projection lens at the front along with a focus knob to adjust its image focus for higher picture clarity. There is an on/off switch at the back of this projector.

It is one of the best battery-powered projectors in the market for its internal powerful battery life.

Resolution & Brightness

LG PF50KA resolution and brightness

Picture quality matters most when you are seeking to invest in portable projectors. This projector from LG takes the lead with its 1920X1080p Full HD resolution. This tiny projector gives you the best picture quality. With its 600 ANSI lumens, it can provide 100-inch projector screen size. It also comes with reliable battery life.

Connectivity

LG PF50KA Connectivity

This full HD projector comes with ample connectivity options which most portable projectors lack. Like Artlii Energon 2, it also comes with 2 HDMI ports. Other ports include USB C port, TV antenna port, USP Type-A port, headphone Jack, and LAN port.

Besides wired connectivity, it also comes with wireless and Bluetooth connectivity so that you can connect it with Bluetooth speakers to overcome its weak in-built speakers. You can display the projection image up to 100″ from a distance of 10 feet. But, i recommend to maintain the projection at 60-75 inches to get the great results.

Built-in LG Smart TV UI

Built-in LG Smart TV user interface gives an access to many games and apps. This added feature makes this projector spefical. To enjoy the TV-like features all you need is to connect this projector to your home Wi-Fi router.

Keystone Correction

Although, there is a manual knob available on the projector to adjust its focus manually. This projector also features horizontal and vertical keystone correction so that you can place it anywhere you want. Setting up this projector is hassle-free. You can leave up to the automatic keystone adjustments and then use a manual knob if required. With any random placement, you get a perfect rectangle projection in no time.

Audio Quality

LG PF50KA Review

The audio quality of this projector is not as good as Artlii Energon 2. It comes with 2 x 1W speakers which offer mediocre sound quality. Hence, I recommend to connect it with Bluetooth speaker to get the desirable audio quality.

I don’t mind labeling it as a smart projector for offering such incredible features.

Conclusion

When it comes to comparing the various battery powered compacble projectors, LG PF50KA takes the lead with its impressive features. Besides offering plenty of connectivity options, this projector comes with reliable brightness to make it work under dim lighting conditions.
